Saturday's Event drew 800 visitors not counting artists and those who came for the inaugural Postoak Disc golf tournament that happened concurrently. There were 65 Art Vendor booths inside the Lodge, four live music groups playing from the inside balcony, and two food and beverage trucks outside.

For this art festival, Alpha Rho Tau – Civic Art Association worked in conjunction with Postoak Lodge to plan and make this festival a successful and fun event.

The current A.R.T. Small Works Exhibit is a great example of the talents, skills, and civic-mindedness of our Members. The artworks are beautiful and our members are wonderful people. Our Small Works Exhibit consisting of 25 works, was enjoyed by the large crowd of visitors. The exhibit will be on display in the Postoak Lodge Gallery from July, 7 thru Oct. 3, 2024

Many folks enjoyed painting and drawing at our interactive art tables. The A.R.T. fundraising project sold four painted and unpainted cow skulls/ jawbones. Thank you to those members who painted them in their studios for the cause: Penny Leary, Wanda Antoine, Shelly DePriest, Mary Oswald and Evelyn Petroski. Also in the large Activities room, on the other side of the room the Whiteside Portrait Artists and the Whiteside Still Life Artists shared their skills and talents, and encouraged the new artists that joined. Live model (clothed) every Tuesday, 10-1:00pm. Model fee $5.

The A.R.T. Welcome table signed up several new members and drew a lot of interest from other Artists who had never heard of Alpha Rho Tau – Civic Art Association.
