Developer Thoughts
This expanded into a full-blown project, And I just recently finished up the last phase.
Take a look give me some feedback on ideas, because I'll be optimizing and cleaning for probably a year.

99% of the file structures are Flat-File, not in the CPU hog, Database.
I added the bare minimum in mySQLi Database so future developers can manage member records easily.

I absolutely agree to having a page with local, regional, state art events, exhibition opportunities, links to local galleries so that working artists can easily research and contact, etc. I think after membership connections, this page will be the most viewed.
A scholarship page would be fantastic to explain A.R.T.'s role in this campaign, the scholarship form and information so that prospective recipients and art faculty can research early.
Art Education would be a great page to highlight upcoming art education opportunities (and specify different groups_ elementary age, junior high, high School, college or adult, etc…). We can maybe volunteer to write up short art education topics like basic composition, art medium tricks of the trade, etc.. I don't know if we can add short 5 minute videos on art topics, etc..
Maps for Events and Members' Pages
I love the volunteer page, especially for current members. I think each volunteer area can always use more member help instead of just the same ones that always volunteer. Maybe they are afraid to volunteer for too much than they can really do, but if we have information for small, specific events, projects that are not year around, that would be fantastic. Also a great place to sign up for your cookie day, show and share day, etc...
Love the white backdrop on the website -it's bright , modern, looks like a gallery wall, etc However the A.R.T. gold logo with the paint palette screams 1970's! Is there a way to keep the logo but updated the colors (maybe primary colors or even black, whites and grays)
The membership pages are exciting! Will it be possible to have more than one image per artist? If an artist wants to update their artwork, are their instructions somewhere on the website to tell artists what to do?, who to submit the image to, etc… AND also rules on how often they can update their image(s), so A.R.T. isn't overworked on this area.
