Painting has always been a part of my life since creating my first canvas at age five.  Although there was a break in painting canvases from the 1980’s to about 2010 when I started my business in decorative faux finishes, texturing, and painting murals in client’s homes.   My business allowed me to continue to fulfill my artistic and creative side but also took away from my studio time.  The decision to close my business and spend more time in my studio was the right one.

Realism painted in oils is my medium of choice.  Landscape painting has always my favorite subject. However, I enjoy the challenge of a variety of subjects as they all present a different perspective in order to capture a moment or emotion.  Art is a journey both for the artist and the viewer.  Enjoy the journey.
